Dear Team,

 

We have enjoyed many blessings this past year in light of the terrible times we have been through.  All of us were able to keep working and our clients continued to seek our services in order to meet their needs.  Our ability to keep doing what we do resulted with our agency enjoying a very strong year and us being able to reward our staff with meaningful raises and incentives.  Unfortunately, many in our community did not have the same fortune that we enjoyed.  Many people found themselves unemployed and reliant upon meager government assistance to house, feed and clothe their families.  The pandemic only added to the large number of El Paso families who were already struggling due to being disadvantaged in a city with high rates of low income and disadvantaged families.  

 

It is time for me to call on you and ask you to give back through our United Way Campaign.  Let’s stand together and support the community that supports us.  I ask you to give a meaningful contribution via our United Way Campaign.  You can give once or you can give through payroll deduction all year long.  You define what meaningful is to you and I’ll share that for me, ”I give until it feels good.”  I would love to see 100% of our team give a meaningful United Way contribution. Let’s show everyone in our community that the people who are PdN Children’s, cares.
